Have you ever asked yourself the questions such as, "Will I go to heaven or hell?", "What will happen after my death on earth?".
Here is the answer to your questions.
1)
Acknowledge that you are a Sinner:
You
might look perfect to yourself but not to the Holy God. No human being is
perfect enough to stand right before God or go to Heaven. Being angry on
someone is a sin equivalent to Murder, looking at someone with lust is
equivalent to adultery. Knowing or being capable of doing good and not doing it
is also a sin. Being proud is a sin, jealousy is a sin, wasting time and
resources is a sin. The list goes on...
2)
We all deserve Hell:
To
God, every sin (big or small) is a sin. One sin is enough to send a sinner to
Hell. So, no human being other than Jesus lived a sinless life nor can anyone live a sinless
life in future. Also, we inherit sin from Adam. We are born as sinners and we
will live as sinners. That is why Christ had to die on the cross.
All
sins have to be punished by the Just God. But, God wants everyone to enter
heaven. That is why, Christ had to die on the cross and buy our pardon.
3)
Accept the Free Gift of Salvation:
Salvation
is a free Gift, available to everyone who believes in the Only True God (Father,
Spirit, Son) and Christ's Sacrifice ALONE
(Not Self-Righteousness, Not Mary, Not religion, Not sacraments etc.) for
Salvation.
Romans
10:9-10 - "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt
believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be
saved."
John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten
Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting
life."
Romans
6:23 - "For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life
through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Everyone who truly believes and accepts Jesus Christ as Savior has their inheritance reserved in Heaven.
Grace isn't a license to sin. It should bring us to our knees and draw the believer to live for God.
